SCRIPTURE: Deut. 6:10-13, 20-24; 7:18-19; 8:2-19
SHOW NOTES: The people of Israel have been wandering in the wilderness for 40 years and they will soon enter the land God promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Lord promises them many good things in the land, but He warns them, “Take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. It is the Lord your God you shall fear … and you shall serve.”
Moses wrote the book of Deuteronomy at the end of his life and shares some important truths with the people of Israel. He tells them “to remember what the Lord did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt, do not forget the great signs and wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out.” These truths apply to our lives as well. We must remember the good gifts from God’s hand and not forget all that He has done for us.
