When we read the pages of the Bible, we find many stories—the lives of real people: Noah, Abraham and Sarah, Jacob, and Joseph. Moses’ life spans 120 years, divided into three 40-year periods. Throughout his life, the Lord had lessons to teach in every phase. God asked these individuals to complete challenging tasks, travel to new lands, serve faithfully, and trust Him during difficult times.
God’s Word shares real stories about many people, helping us learn and grow. We can relate to and often connect with the Lord’s work in their lives. David’s psalm of praise encourages the Lord’s redeemed to share the story of God’s marvelous deeds, greatness, and goodness.
Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.
- Psalm 145:6
David loudly proclaims the Lord’s marvelous deeds and His magnificent greatness. He sets an example for us to worship the Lord and acknowledge all He has done. The Lord is great and worthy of our praise every day.

Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness. They will sing with joy about your righteousness.
- Psalm 145:7
When we experience the Lord’s goodness in our lives, it’s important to share it with others. We have the chance every day to tell others about His love, mercy, and compassion. It’s a wonderful story of our gracious God.
In our personal time with the Lord, we worship Him. We also share His marvelous work of redemption with others. May our hearts be filled with gratitude, and may our mouths speak words of praise.
All of your works will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you.
- Psalm 145:10
