Walk in Integrity

Season 17: Treasure in the Word

Scripture: Proverbs 18-19

SHOW NOTES:

Today’s lesson will highlight examples of the contrast between the Upright and the Wicked. This gives us instruction and guidance for how we choose to live.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous runs into it and is safe.

- Proverbs 18:10

Is it possible that Solomon learned this Truth from his father? David penned these words in Psalm 61:3 –

“For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy.”

Proverbs 19 directs our attention to conduct and how we live life. In verse 1, the author tells us a poor man should walk with integrity and live in an upright, godly manner.

The definition of Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will find good. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who tells lies will perish.

- Proverbs 19:8-9
